Armando Perez

Armando Perez Sr., retired electronic technician at Hewlett-Packard, passed away suddenly and unexpectedly on Saturday, August 12, 2017 at the age of 60. Armando is survived by his wife, Francisca Perez (Villarreal); his daughters, Claudia Edith Cheramie (Perez) and Diana Rodriguez (Perez); his son Armando Perez; and his mother, America Perez (Pena). He is predeceased by his father, Jesus Roberto Perez. Armando was born and raised in Houston, Texas on February 18, 1957 to Jesus Roberto Perez and America Perez. He graduated from Reagan High School in May of 1976 where he then went on to further obtain his technical degree from the ITT Technical Institute in June of 1986. He began his career at Ross Hill Controls as an electronic technician in 1977 until in 1983 when he transitioned to his long term employer, Compaq (later Hewlett-Packard), where he worked as a electronic technician for over twenty-four years until retirement in 2007. On February 28th 1981, he married his high school sweetheart, Francisca Villarreal. Armando and his wife, Francisca, gave birth to three children in their marriage, first daughter Claudia Edith on August 3, 1981; second daughter Diana Christina on January 28, 1985; and their son Armando on February 28, 1989. All three children made their father proud as graduates at the University of Houston in 2007, 2008 and 2013, respectively. Armando was a hard worker, devoted husband and father. He enjoyed traveling with his family to places such as Disney World in Orlando, Florida and to various destinations in Mexico including Cancun and Monterrey. He was an avid reader and scholar on subjects such as history, science, philsophy, theology, politics and medicine and enjoyed sharing his knowledge with family and friends. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends and all who knew him. Deacon Luis Hernandez will officiate the service.
