Brian Vogel

Brian Vogel beloved husband, father and brother passed away peacefully on Saturday, August 23, 2025, after a long courageous fight with Cancer. He will always be remembered as a strong fighter, loving husband and father.He was born on February 25,1964 in Houston, TX to Henry and Loretta Vogel. He studied Electrical Engineering at University of Houston before moving into the automotive industry. A chance meeting at a local pub one night, Brian met the love of his life, Betsy, whom he married in December 1999. Over the next few years, the Vogel family boomed, welcoming two boys, Branden Kyle and Blake Kristopher. It was during these years that the BKVs were established.A devoted father, Brian, enjoyed watching his boys play sports over the years, as well as participating in Scouting events and helping them both achieve their Eagle Scout Rank. His world revolved around his family. Together they enjoyed attending Astros baseball games, U of H football games, fishing, Nascar events, road trips, and weekends at the farm. Known for his grilling expertise, Brian loved to cook for his family and enjoyed trying new recipes. In his spare time, he also enjoyed gardening, tinkering around the house and working on the vehicles with the boys. Brian will be deeply missed and will be forever remembered for his generosity and love for his family and friends. Brian is survived by his wife of 26 years, Betsy, his two beloved sons, Branden and Blake; his sister Susan (James) Zipperer.
