Cynthia Lynne Reichert

Cynthia Lynne Reichert of Spring Texas passed away peacefully at home with her family on March 30, 2020 after fighting her 2.5year battle with cancer She was born on February 3, 1961 in Fort Worth, Texas. She was the third of four children born to Howard and Nell Shelton. Cindy graduated Deer Park Highschool in 1979 and went on to work at the Southern Pacific Railroad where she met her husband Joe Reichert in 1988. They then married on September 21, 1990. Although Cindy never had any biological children, she loved, viewed and treated her stepchildren Joe and Jeni as her very own, as she came into their lives at the young ages of 9 and 5. Cindy and Joe then bought into their own company Jumbo Distributing in November of 1994 at which Cindy was still working at the time of her passing. Her greatest love and joy was becoming a Guh to her three grandchildren, Addison, JD and Aubree. She loved doing or playing anything her grandchildren wanted her to, going to the casino with her husband and friends, going to visit her parents and sisters every other Tuesday, hosting the chili cookoff for the Shriners Hospital every year, having her weekly girls night with her group of close friends and going on her yearly girls trips with them. She is survived by her loving husband of 30 years, Joe. Her children Joe Reichert and daughter in law, Tiffany, Jeni Zellars and son in law Justin, and grandchildren Addison, JD & Aubree. She is also survived by her mother, Nell Shelton, sisters, Teresa White, Lisa Cox and husband Tim, brother, Clint Shelton and wife Vikki and many nieces and nephews along with many great nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her Grandparents Bill & Viola Corley, Thelma Clark, Aunt Kay Taylor and Uncle Don Taylor. She is also preceded in death by her father Howard Shelton whom we know Cindy was waiting to greet in Heaven just three short days after her passing. Cindy was funny and always made everyone around her laugh. She was smart, beautiful, sassy, always honest but most of all so strong and brave which she proved the entire 2.5 year battle she fought. She never once complained about her diagnosis, she was always happy and positive. We will miss her laugh, her beautiful smile, her sense of humor but most of all we will miss her love.
