The Addison family and staff at Addison Funeral Home extend their condolences to the Turner family and friends. James H. Turner, Jr. Born March 21, 1948 exchanged this life for his eternal home on Sunday, March 15th 2015. He was surrounded by his loving family as he made his crossing. He is preceded in death by his father James Turner, Sr., and Brother Travis Turner. He is survived by his loving wife of 46 years Debbie Turner of Huntsville, Texas, daughter Alison and son-in-law Blaise Plant and beloved grandchildren Alexis and Blaise, Jr. of Spring Texas, sister-in-law Jeanie Turner, nephews Nathan Turner along wife Anna, Derick Turner and his wife Connie, and loving cousin Vicky Rhodes Harris. Honorary pallbearers are Nathan Turner, Derick Turner, Monte Flesher, Gene Norman, Johnny Vasquez, and Josh Dewitt. Viewing will be held at Addison Funeral Home, Tuesday, March 17th at 18630 Kuykendahl Rd., Spring, Texas, 6pm-8pm. Memorial Services will be held Wednesday, March, 18th at 2 pm at Memorial Baptist Church 22333 Kuykendahl, Spring, Texas, 77389. While we celebrate the extraordinary life of this amazing Husband, Father, Brother, Son, and loving PawPaw we want you to remember the life that he lived and loved so fully. He cherished his time hunting and fishing, especially in South Texas. Jim enjoyed the outdoors and the freedom of travel. He enjoyed his job with The Port of Houston Authority which allowed him to visit beautiful places such as France, Finland, Poland, and one of his favorite destinations the Beaches of Normandy. He cherished time spent with his beloved family and friends, especially the precious time dotting on his grandchildren. Jim fought a courageous battle with his lifelong health issues with the utmost grace and courage, he never once complained or had a negative outlook. He believed in playing the cards he was dealt. In his daughter’s words, “he was the strongest and bravest man she has ever know.” Jim has lived a full life filled with love, mercy, and faith in his everlasting Father.
