Jane Yvonne Walls

Today, on January 21, 2026, we mourn the passing of Jane Yvonne Walls on January 15, 2026 at the age of forty-four. Jane was born in Houston, Texas. From an early age Jane was a smart, well rounded individual and had the intelligence of someone much older. There wasn’t anything Jane could not figure out or do. Jane attended Jefferson Davis High School, where she played the flute in band and was drum major. She played soccer at George Washington University and graduated with an Associates Degree from Texas A&M where she majored in Political Science and minored in Russian Literature. She was an accomplished professional teacher for many years at schools around the Houston Area before the became an entrepreneur and started two businesses from scratch, one along with two other individuals named ASD Hope/Texas Autism Academy and most recently with her brother where she helped cofound Autism International Consulting. Jane was successful in whatever she set her mind to accomplish. Jane liked going to the lake, traveling to see family, playing farkle, train with dominoes, crocheting, music, horror movies, and loved her puppies and kitties. She was also an avid reader and loved books from an early age. The last few years Jane loved hitting the Casinos in Louisiana where she usually walked away quite a bit richer. Jane was very out going and her smile was very infectious. You couldn’t help feeling better being around her. She was the best wife a man could ever want, such a special young lady. She is survived by her husband David Walls, her brother, sister-in law and niece, Armando Bernal, Rebecca Bernal and Erin Elaine Bernal, her mother Sara Bernal, her Uncle, James Paul Davis, her brother-in-law Dennis Walls, her Aunt Maureen, Uncle Ron, Cousins Scott, Heather & Davis Byrd, Cousins Kristy, Hailie, Jake, Mark, Ellie & Bob Detrick, Aunt Cynthia and Uncle Randy Walls and numerous family members and friends that are heartbroken at her passing. She was brilliant and full of life, always putting others' needs before her own. As a teacher she put her students first and foremost. Her early death leaves us with many questions, some of which will never be answered. We will miss her dearly, but know God has a plan and a reason. Our life will never be the same though. Until we meet again Jane we will all love you forever. You touched all our lives in a special way.
