Jeanette Janak

The world was introduced to Jeanette Kathleen Hill on February 14th, 1980 by James and JoAnn Hill in San Bernardino, California. Shortly after, she spent most of her childhood and teenage years growing up in the same house on the same street in Spring, Texas, along with her older brother Eric Hill. Jeanette graduated from Klein Oak High School in 1998, where she had developed special connections to friends whom she would hold close to her heart for the rest of her life. In her 20’s, Jeanette established a network of close friends starting at Best Buy, then Car Toys during the day while bartending at Hojo’s at night. In April of 2006, her amazing journey continued as she became a mother for the first time to Evan James Starling, then again in November of 2007 to Logan Everett Starling. Her bonus child came in December of 2009, when she met the love of her life Brenton Joseph Janak and his son Zachary Austin Janak. Jeanette became well known at PFE for having three of the smartest, best-behaved young men who made her heart swell with pride. Jeanette and Brent’s relationship was more than just a blended family, but a soul-bonding experience that ultimately led to their marriage on April 3, 2016. Jeanette supported the family by bartending and managing at her family’s bar at night when she wasn’t playing Super Mom during the day for her boys. Jeanette Kathleen Janak, a happy wife, favorite bartender, and active mother of three was faced with a long and painful journey when diagnosed with cervical cancer in January of 2017. The last two years of her life, she fought through the agony of various chemotherapy and radiation treatments, but she also took the time to show everyone how valuable life is and how much she loves her family and friends. She would be sitting in a hospital bed asking about your day because she truly cared. She always made you feel special, but would tell you what you needed to hear even if it wasn’t what you wanted. In her final days, Jeanette was surrounded by her husband Brent Janak, sons Evan Starling, Zachary Janak & Logan Starling, her mother JoAnn Hill, brother Eric Hill & family, late father James Hill, late uncle Kevin Hill, and numerous close friends, family and neighbors. Jeanette finally flew to the angels the early morning of October 25, 2018.
