Jeannette Auxiliadora Lainez

Jeannette Auxiliadora Lainez, of Spring, passed away unexpectedly on June 13, 2021 at the age of 60. Jeannette “Auxi” was born in Tegucigalpa, Honduras on August 6, 1960 to Salvador Martinez and Adelfa Zelaya. She was the youngest of 10 children. As a young adult, she traveled to London to learn English and returned to Honduras to become an English teacher. At the age of 20 she met her husband Hector Ricardo Lainez and married on February 6, 1981. They had three girls, Jeannette (39), Sarah (30), and Larissa (29). In 1988, Jeannette and Ricardo moved to Houston to start their new lives with more opportunities. She was able to finish her degree in education at Sam Houston State University while raising her family. She continued her teaching career up to her retirement in February of 2020. Anyone that worked with her could tell you that she was a strong advocate for children. No one had more passion than she did for her job. Her family was her biggest accomplishment. She was proud of her three girls graduating from college and having successful careers. What made her happiest was spending time with family. She always said her happiest times were going to theme parks with her children (they visited Astroworld and Disney World often). Jeannette and Ricardo enjoyed spending their free time dancing and dining out. They would take sporadic trips to Vegas and the beach. They loved each other so much. Her three grandchildren brought her so much joy. She loved to FaceTime with them and spoke to all three of her daughters daily. They were all extremely close. She is preceded in death by her mother Adelfa, her father Salvador, Her sisters Sylvia and Martha. She is survived by her husband Ricardo of 40 years, her daughters Jeannette, Sarah, and Larissa. Her sons-in-law Thomas and Joshua, and her three grandchildren; Sloane (9), Jack (7), and Camila (4). Her brothers Salvador, German, Gustavo, and her sisters Maria Teresa (Techi), Marlen, Miriam, and Patricia. She will be missed immensely. Jeannette “Auxi” nació en Tegucigalpa, Honduras el 6 de agosto de 1960 a Salvador Martínez y Adelfa Zelaya. Ella era la menor de 10 hijos. De joven, viajó a Londres para aprender inglés y regresó a Honduras para convertirse en profesora de inglés. A los 20 años conoció a su esposo Héctor Ricardo Lainez y se casó el 6 de febrero de 1981. Tuvieron tres hijas, Jeannette (39), Sarah (30) y Larissa (29). En 1988, Jeannette y Ricardo se mudaron a Houston para comenzar sus nuevas vidas con más oportunidades. Pudo terminar su licenciatura en educación en Sam Houston State University mientras criaba a su familia. Continuó su carrera docente hasta su jubilación en febrero de 2020. Cualquiera que haya trabajado con ella podría decirle que era una gran defensora de los niños. Nadie tenía más pasión que ella por su trabajo. Su familia fue su mayor logro. Estaba orgullosa de que sus tres hijas se graduaran de la universidad y tuvieran carreras exitosas. Lo que la hizo más feliz fue pasar tiempo con la familia. Siempre decía que sus momentos más felices eran ir a los parques temáticos con sus hijos (visitaban a menudo Astroworld y Disney World). Jeannette y Ricardo disfrutaron pasar su tiempo libre bailando y cenando fuera. Hacían viajes esporádicos a Las Vegas y la playa. Se amaban tanto. Sus tres nietos le trajeron mucha alegría. Le encantaba FaceTime con ellos y hablaba con sus tres hijas a diario. Todos estaban muy cerca. Le anteceden en la muerte su madre Adelfa, su padre Salvador, sus hermanas Sylvia y Martha. Le sobreviven su esposo Ricardo de 40 años, sus hijas Jeannette, Sarah y Larissa. Sus yernos Thomas y Joshua, y sus tres nietos; Sloane (9), Jack (7) y Camila (4). Sus hermanos Salvador, Germán, Gustavo y sus hermanas María Teresa (Techi), Marlen, Miriam, y Patricia. La extrañaremos inmensamente.
