Karl Wallace

With a heavy heart, we announce the passing of Karl Edward Wallace. Karl passed away peacefully in his sleep on May 31, 2024 at home surrounded by loved ones. He was born on September 29, 1963, in Houston, Texas to John and Billie Jo Wallace. In loving memory of Karl Wallace, who was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and friend. He will be fondly remembered for his charismatic presence and unwavering devotion to those he held dearly in his heart. Karl had a formidable work ethic. He worked hard in life and in his career to provide for and take care of his family. His dedication and drive helped him move up the ranks within his career from beginning as part of the Maintenance team to fulfilling the role as Chief Facilities Manager. He was a hardworking, devout man who also enjoyed his time outside of work. He was a passionate bull rider, hunter, and fisherman and made many fond memories with those he loved. He was a bigfoot enthusiast, a western fanatic, and a country boy through and through. He spent his life with his soulmate and was a proud father and Papa to his children and grandchildren. Karl was always so playful and caring towards them and he created loving memories with the grandbabies that will always be treasured. Whether it was with his family or with his friends, Karl will be remembered for his joking nature and adventurous spirit. He had a fun-loving personality and brought laughter and joy to those around him with his playful antics and sense of humor. A pillar of strength, Karl was definitely a strong presence in our lives and will surely be missed. Karl Wallace is survived by his cherished partner, Julie Wallace. His four daughters, Jordan Howe, Morgan Reyes, Jessica Wallace, and Megan Terral. His father John Wallace, his wife Kathy Wallace and her daughter Jeri Lynn James. His sisters, Karen Wallace and Kathy Busa. And his grandchildren, Joshua Wallace, Nathaniel Reyes, Isabella Reyes, and Alistair Acosta. And many loved families and friends. Karl is preceded in death by his mother Billie Jo Wallace. His grandparents, Rayford and Winnie Campbell as well as, Gus and Lucille Wallace. His best friends, Mitch Stewart and Wayne Kelly. A Celebration of Life will be held at Wunche Bros Café & Saloon on June 9th, 2024 at 11:00 AM 103 Midway St. Spring, TX Services are on the second floor and the elevator is under repair, so accessibility will be limited. Following the service, the Wallace family invites family and friends to share a toast or stories over cocktails and snacks. Business causal dress code, camo colors encouraged. No services are currently being held through Addison Funeral Home.
