Kevin Thomas Romberg

Kevin Thomas Romberg, beloved son and brother, passed away on May 4, 2024, in his hometown of Spring, TX. He was born to Harold Sr. and Nancy Romberg on September 10, 1974, in the same city that he would call home for the entirety of his life. Kevin was a graduate of Klein Oak High School, class of 1993, and went on to pursue his passion for graphic arts and design at The Art Institutes, where he earned his Bachelor of Science – Computer Animation and Design, in 1999. His career in graphic design earned him various positions as Art Director and Creator for many different publishing and marketing firms. He truly had a gift and talent for design and creativity. His brother, Harold Jr, remembers him as always being the athletic sibling and popular with all his friends. Kevin excelled at playing baseball as a pitcher through his little league and high school years and had a passion for tennis and swimming. He was the social butterfly always valuing the relationship of his friends and relying on them to provide support and strength. Kevin had an enduring love for his mom and always wanted to make her proud, which she was. He is now at peace with her in heaven. His dad has always been proud of son’s military service and has loving memories of the many SCUBA diving trips they made together. Kevin had loyalty and a strong patriotism for our country. In 2010, Kevin joined the U.S. Army. He is a proud veteran of the 2nd Infantry Division, 3rd Battalion, 34th Infantry Regiment, 4th Platoon as a Combat Medic Specialist. Kevin earned the Good Conduct Medal, the National Defense Service Medal, the Global War on Terrorism Service Medal and the Army Service Ribbon. Predeceased by his mother, Nancy, Kevin is survived by his father, Harold Sr, and stepmother, Eugenia Villa; his brother, Harold Jr, and brother-in-law, Luis Rodas, sister-in-law Sara Rodas; and stepbrothers, Joshua Manzano, and Brandon Manzano.
