Lawrence "Larry" Foussadier

Lawrence “Larry” Antoine Foussadier, 58, of Conroe, Texas, a caring and compassionate husband, brother, and uncle who lived a life of devotion to his many friends and family, passed away on February 10, 2025. He was born on December 8, 1966 in The Bronx, New York to Esther and Jean Foussadier. He was the youngest of four children, after his sister Mary Ann, and brothers Victor and Gene. Larry spent his childhood growing up in The Bronx and later moved to Texas where he graduated from Klein Oak High School in 1985. Larry was a devoted husband to his late wife, Carol, with whom he shared more than three decades of love and companionship. Together, they spent many years volunteering with Lone Star Animal Welfare League, a reflection of their deep love for animals. Though Larry and Carol never had children, their hearts were full with the love they had for their four dogs—K.C., Gabbi, Shelby, and Sissy—who were truly their family. His last dog, Bonnie, was a source of comfort and joy in his final days. For 40 years, Larry was a dedicated part of Guthrie Buildings, where his role extended far beyond work. The friendships he built there meant the world to him. The Guthrie’s were like a second family. During football season, Sundays were reserved for tailgating at Texans games, a tradition filled with laughter, good food, and team spirit. Larry was known for his generosity, loyalty, and unwavering support for his friends and family. He never missed an important event; always showing up for the people he loved. His sense of humor was one of his most memorable traits—he had a knack for making people laugh with his goofy jokes and playful antics. Larry’s kindness, laughter, and dedication to those he loved will be deeply missed but never forgotten. Preceded in death by the love of his life, his wife Carol, his parents, Jean and Esther; his sister, Mary Ann, brother-in-law Daniel and best friend, Tom. He is survived by his brothers, Victor and Gene; sisters-in-law, Maria, Erika and Laurie; Brothers-in-law Raymond and David; nieces and nephews: Dennis, Jason, Veronica, Ashley, Samantha, Paul, Stephanie, Leslie, Victoria, Maycee, Angelo, Jonathan, and Jody. He is also survived by his nephews-in-law, Juan, Matt, and Alex, as well as his grand-nieces and grand-nephews: Jaden, Brooklyn, Jaxon, Eli, Payton, Von, Penelope, and Wrenley.
