Lisa Beth White Yurkovich

Lisa Beth White Yurkovich, age 44, passed away unexpectedly on July 18, 2015, in New Orleans, Louisiana. She was born on April 25, 1971, in Toledo, Ohio. She is preceded in death by her grandparents: Virginia Mae Ott, George Edward Ott, and Julia Haddad White (Sitto). She is survived by her parents: Cheryl and Lee White, sister: Stefanie Dawn Portugal, fiancé: Charles Fritz Boehler, along with aunts and uncles: Rose Nieman, Paul White, Jill and Claude Barry, & Pam and Louis Snyder; close cousins: Sandy Steward, Matthew Wiley, and Chad Wiley and their beautiful children; and distant cousins, Jeri Lynn Belden and Jace White. She graduated from Plano Senior High School in June of 1989. After attending Collin County Community College for one year, she studied Criminal Justice at Stephen F. Austin State University for 2 years. Lisa was very talented, organized and task-oriented, which served her for many years as she managed personal adjustment claims for various insurance companies. Lisa loved being with family and friends; she was a strong woman with a huge heart, an amazing smile, a belly laugh that came from way down deep. She was a loyal friend and had an instant rapport with many. She was a kind and gracious person. Her many talents included cooking. She loved to cook and she was extremely enthusiastic in the kitchen - oh-so-proud of her creations and the enjoyment others derived from them. Lisa was recently engaged to Charles Fritz Boehler, the love of her life. They were having the time of their lives traveling together throughout the United States and sharing their hopes and dreams for a beautiful future together. She will be sorely missed and will be remembered each and every day for everything that she brought to our lives. There will never be another “Lisa Pizza”, another “Sister Susie” or another “Basy”. THE FAMILY HAS REQUESTED PRIVATE SERVICES..... Nothing can make up for the absence of someone whom we love, and it would be wrong to try to find a substitute; we simply hold out and see it through. That sounds very hard at first, but at the same time it is a great consolation,for the gap,as long as it remains unfilled, preserves the bond between us.
