Madison Jugon

Madison Michelle Jugon January 9, 1993 – September 7, 2023 Madison Michelle Jugon was a sweet and loving daughter, sister, mother, niece and aunt. She was a caring friend to anyone she met. Madi left this world suddenly on September 7, 2023, at the age of 30. She was born to Jim and Diana Jugon on January 9, 1993. After graduating from Carl Wunsche High School in 2011, Madison began pursuing her dream of becoming a nurse. While attending classes at Lone Star College, she also worked as a Patient Care Advocate at St. Luke’s Hospital in The Woodlands. It was during that time when she began experiencing the painful symptoms of what was later determined to be an autoimmune disease called Guillain-Barre Syndrome, or GBS. Madison is survived by her two daughters, Skylar Faith Chandler and Phebe Jane Powers, her parents, Diana and Jim Jugon, her stepparents, Rob Laas and Deborah Kirsh, her grandmothers, Colleen Adair and Nancy Jugon, her adoring sisters Morgan, Montana, and Lauren, her nephews, Zeven and Zayne Johnson, her nieces, McKenlie and Melody Robertson, and many other aunts, uncles and cousins that make up her big noisy family. Madison is preceded in death by her grandfathers, Hubert Adair and Donald Jugon, her boyfriend Joshua Powers, and family pets Buster, Toby and KiKi Marchello. Madison considered herself to be a “nerdy geek” who prided herself on academic excellence, who loved science fiction, fantasy and superhero films, and was convinced she would one day drive a flying car. Upon her immediate arrival in heaven, she is seeking to learn the truth about alien beings and can’t wait to meet them if they are there. Her smile could light up the whole world and her laugh was infectious. She never lost her childlike desire to play and explore. She was always doing something or going somewhere. She loved nature and being outdoors. She never passed up an opportunity to go for a hike, a bike ride, a float down the creek, or a trip to the beach. Madison will be remembered for her beauty, her gentle and loving heart, and for the way she always rooted for the underdog. To know her was to love her and she will never be forgotten. She touched so many lives just by being a friend to literally anyone who needed one. Madi was our angel baby, and she’s a real angel now.
