Michael Eugene Waters

Michael Eugene Waters of the Woodlands, passed away peacefully, with his family at his side after his valiant fight with cancer on June 1, 2016. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, June 11, 2016 at 11:00AM, at Grace Crossing Church of Christ, 105 FM 1488 Rd, Conroe, TX. Cliff Ritter, Caring Minister of The Woodlands United Methodist Church will officiate. A private Family burial will be held in Huntington, Texas. Michael was born October 6, 1958 in San Benito, Texas to James Albert Waters and Kay Wenkstern Waters. He graduated from Conroe High School in 1977 and attended Abilene Christian University. He was Owner/Partner of S.A.F.E, Security and Fire Enterprises, of The Woodlands since 1992. He is survived by his loving wife of 32 years, Mary Jacqueline Stewart Waters. He was a dedicated father who considered his amazing children his greatest accomplishments in life. He leaves these gifts behind: Joshua Appleton Waters married to Sara Marie Ramirez Waters, Dr. Kati Elizabeth Waters DPM, and Michael Tyler Waters. He is survived by brothers Jim Bob Waters, Randall Lovett Waters, Richard Andrew Waters and sister, Susan Kay Waters Rachal along with many Nieces, Nephews, Aunts, Uncles, and Cousins that he truly adored. Honorary Pall Bearers are his nephews, Randall Waters, Jr., Airman Brandon Fleury USAF, Connor Fleury, Ryan Rachal, Reed Rachal, Hayden Waters, Cory Johnson, and Sargeant Michael Digel USMC. Mike was an avid salt water fisherman and hunter. He enjoyed his years as a volunteer with The Montgomery County Republican Party serving in many leadership positions. He served as Area Vice Chairman, Chairman of Precinct 84, and Chairman of the State and Local Conventions for Texas Senate District 4. Mike played on the first All Star Team for Oak Ridge Woodlands Area Little League (ORWALL) and spent many years playing, coaching and sponsoring teams. The Michael Waters Memorial Sponsorship Fund has been created to help children in need of funds to play Little League Baseball as a tribute to Michael’s love and dedication to Little League Baseball.
