Nancy Romberg

On Thursday, June 30, 2022, Nancy Ann Romberg, loving mother of two children, passed away at the age of 76 in The Woodlands, Texas. Nancy was born on January 01, 1946, in Queens, NY to Henry and Katherine Baumann. She left behind two loving sons, Harold and Kevin, who will miss her so very much. Nancy loved working outside in her garden planting colorful flowers in the backyard. One of her most genuine passions was gathering family and friends for the holidays, especially Thanksgiving and Christmas. Family, food, and traditions were so important to her to make everyone around her feel loved and blessed. We also cannot forget how we loved her cooking – mashed potatoes, sweet potatoes, squash casserole and her love of sweets – fudge, magic cookie bars and peanut butter cookies. Most of her adult life was spent living in Texas, in the Spring and Tomball areas. She was a proud Texan and American, who loved the country we live in. Anyone who knew Nancy knows her love of football and being one of the most loyal Houston Oiler and Texans fans. She always looked forward to the start of football season and every Sunday was in front of the television rooting and hollering while watching the football games. Her professional life, she worked as an office manager for many different law firms. She had a passion for the work she did and always considered her co-workers like a second family and they considered her a second mom. She always brought a smile to everyone’s face and filled you with love and joy. Nancy had such a big heart and was loved by so many. She had a love for dogs and left behind her beloved dachshund, Rusty. Nancy was preceded in death by her father, Henry Otto, her mother, Katherine, and her brother Henry Edward. She is survived by her two sons, Harold, and Kevin. A mother's love is always with her children. Losing a mother is one of the deepest sorrows a heart can know. But her goodness, her caring, and her wisdom live on-like a legacy of love that will always be with you. May that love surround you now and bring you peace.
