Patricia Lynn Hardy January 27, 1951 – May 19, 2026 Patricia Lynn Hardy, lovingly known as Tricia, Aunt Tricia, and Grammy to so many who cherished her, went home to be with the Lord on May 19, 2026, at the age of 75. Born in Texas City, Texas, on January 27, 1951, Tricia spent most of her life in the Bacliff/San Leon area, where she built a life centered around faith, family, friendship, and love. She shared a love story with her husband who was her high school sweetheart, Patrick Gerald Hardy Sr. After his passing, she later moved to Spring, Texas, where she became deeply loved by her church family and community. Tricia was a devoted Christian woman who faithfully sought the Lord in every decision she made. Her unwavering faith guided not only her own life, but also the lives of her children, grandchildren, and generations to come, leaving behind a legacy of faith. Tricia found her greatest joy in spending time with her family. She had a gentle spirit and treated everyone she encountered with warmth, grace, and compassion. She loved reading, attending craft shows, decorating her front porch beautifully for every season of the year, taking road trips with friends and family, and cherishing special moments spent with her dear friends, always creating a warm and welcoming life filled with love, wisdom, and a gentle heart that will be deeply missed by all who knew her. She was preceded in death by her high school sweetheart, Patrick Gerald Hardy Sr.; her father, Pat Barnhill; her mother, Billie McDougle Barnhill; her brother, Ronald Barnhill; her sister-in-law, Angie Barnhill; and her brother-in-law, Richard Hardy. She is survived by her son, Patrick Gerald Hardy Jr.; her daughter, Leigh Anne Maxwell, and son-in-law, Jon Maxwell; her cherished grandsons, Nic Maxwell, Blake Maxwell, Brooks Maxwell, and Brayden Maxwell; her great-grandson, Jordan Maxwell; her sister, Lois Waits, and brother-in-law, Richard Waits; her brother, Donald Barnhill, and sister-in-law, Connie Barnhill; her sister-in-law, Cheryl Gautier, and husband, Dennis Gautier; her sister-in-law, Linda Pinkston; her brothers-in-law, Travis (Sonny) Hardy and Michael Hardy; her aunts, Gloria McDougle, Linda Curry, and husband, Ralph Curry; along with many beloved nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends. The family would also like to express their heartfelt gratitude for the close friends who lovingly walked beside Tricia and helped care for her through the end of her journey.
