Patricia Pollard

On Saturday August 14, 2021, Patricia Ann Pollard, loving mother and grandmother, passed away at the age of 69. Patricia was born in Corpus Christi, TX to Minnie and Darrel Pollard. She graduated from Slaton High School in 1970. She had four children and she loved them with all of her heart. Her favorite thing aside from being a mother was being a grandmother. Her grandchildren and great granddaughter were her pride and joy. She enjoyed traveling, attending social events, live music, and cooking. She had a heart for animals, rescuing many cats and dogs throughout her lifetime. She loved her friends dearly and enjoyed getting to see them whenever she got a chance. Patricia began her Real Estate career in the 80s as a Texas licensed Realtor and her career path evolved to Corporate Relocation Management. Patricia was a highly regarded relocation professional, a frequent speaker and panelist at Relocation Industry events. She served on the Texas Relocation Network board and was the 2018 President of Relocation Directors Council. She was a recipient of a Distinguished Service Award from Worldwide ERC. She approached every relocation role she had with passion, integrity, consideration and hospitality. Patricia was preceded in death by her mother, Minnie, her father, Darrel, and her brother, Pete. She is survived by her children, Heather Thomas along with her husband Howard Thomas, Geron Burkett, Whitney Sostarich along with her husband David Sostarich, and James Travis Williams along with his wife Jacquelyn Williams. Her grandchildren, Emily, Lauren, Kathryn, Julie, Abigayle, Atticus, Elyza, Eli and her great granddaughter Samantha, along with two great grandchildren she was eager to meet later this year, her sister Sandra, her brother Gary, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Patricia was a survivor of many things including breast cancer and heart issues, so in lieu of flowers please make a donation in her name to Susan G. Koman Breast Cancer Foundation, the Northwest Chapter of the American Heart Association, or the Houston SPCA. A memorial service will be held on Monday, August 23rd, 2021 at 11 o’clock a.m. at Louetta Road Baptist Church, 8822 Louetta Road Spring, TX 77379.
