Ronnie Edward Singleton III

Ronnie Edward Singleton III, aged 19, of Spring, Texas, passed away on June 29, 2025. Born on June 17, 2006, in Houston, he was the eldest son of Ronnie and RaChelle Singleton II. Ronnie brought immense joy to his family and served as a shining example for his brothers and friends. Although his time with us was far too short, Ronnie embraced each day fully. Known affectionately as “Mr. 2K” by loved ones, he had a deep passion for sports—especially basketball. Ronnie’s educational journey began at Benfer Elementary, continued through Strack Intermediate, and led to his 2024 graduation from Klein High School. From kindergarten through fifth grade, he played soccer as a “Goalkeeper” with Klein Soccer Club. At Klein High, his love for music blossomed; he played trombone in the Bearkat Band. In athletics, Ronnie was a standout: he played on the high school basketball team and participated in AAU leagues—first with the Houston Knights (freshman and sophomore years) and later with CME Elite (junior and senior years). Beyond playing, he also served as Sports Camera Operator for Klein High’s football team, and his dedication earned him a coveted letterman jacket. Known for his strong work ethic—instilled by his parents and coaches—Ronnie followed in his mother RaChelle’s footsteps by pursuing a career in real estate. He attended Champion Real Estate School while working as Assistant Manager at Shoe Palace. Just before his passing, he was preparing to take his final class and study for the state and national real estate examinations. When he wasn’t studying or working, Ronnie could be found on the basketball court with his brothers and friends, indulging in the game he loved. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Franklin Jackson.
