Clarence Oliver Sims

Clarence Oliver Sims was born December 24, 1942 in Kountze, Texas to Walter and Willie Sims. After graduating high school, Clarence was drafted into the army where he proudly served his country for two years. He spent most of his military career in Germany and Vietnam. After an honorable discharge from the Army, Clarence continued serving his country by taking a job with the United States Customs and Border Protection, from which he later retired. Clarence enjoyed traveling, cooking, telling jokes and going to church. Clarence went to be with his Lord and Savior on March 26, 2021 after living a very fulfilling and prosperous life. Clarence is preceded in death by his brothers; Charles W., Morris L., Willie D., James, Henry L., L.J. and sister; Virginia. He is survived by his sister Mary L. Freeman and only son, Cohen Sims.
