Jennifer Marie Pequeno

Jennifer Pequeno, passed away unexpectedly on January 13, 2022 at the age of 41. She is survived by her daughter Ashlee Pequeno; her father Jesus Cortinas Sr; her mother Sandra Jimenez; her step-father Jose Jimenez; her step-mother Melissa Cortinas; her brother’s Arturo Jimenez, Jesus Cortinas Jr, Nicholas Jimenez and Stuart Cortinas; and her sister’s Samantha Albritton, Sarah Hargrove, Alicia Evans and Freedom Jimenez. Jennifer was born in Corpus Christi on May 8, 1980. She welcomed her beautiful daughter Ashlee into the world on September 20, 1998. Ashlee was one of her greatest gifts and biggest source of joy. Together the two of them made a beautiful life surrounded by a supportive family who walked them through times of joy and times of sorrow. Jennifer was a devoted mother and great friend to all who knew her. She enjoyed writing poetry and loved listening to music. She was very out going and never met a stranger. Jennifer had a way to make everyone around her feel loved and special. She managed to speak what was on her mind in a way that you knew she saw you and appreciated every moment of life that came her way. She will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who knew her.
