Melida Socorro Aleman was born to the late Gulliermo and Hilaria Aleman on December 21, 1955, in Managua, Nicaragua. She passed away in the early evening of March 12, 2022, in Spring, Texas after a valiant battle with cancer, end stage renal failure, and life itself. She was the 3rd of 11 siblings. Melida was a woman of God and blessed with a huge and loving family. Although she never had a family of her own, she dedicated her life in caring and raising her nephews and nieces whom she loved dearly. She also shared her love for food and her own culture. Melida was kind, selfless, and candid. Her innate ability to care for the people who crosses her path is the reason why she loved life. She was always ready to lend her ears, advise and share wisdom to anyone. Melida is survived by her brothers: Pedro & Enrique Javier; sisters: Emilia, Lucy, Maria, Blanca, Julieta, & Adela; as well as her nieces, nephews: Laura & Carl Almirol, Kiara, Kiana, Carl Jr.; Lissette Rocha; Kimberly Torres, Noah Pooler; Hersan, Roberto, Francisco, Anthony Aburto & family; Jeffrey Aleman, Jonathan Lanzas; Alvaro & Ariel Lopez; Donaldo & Tamara Gutierrez, Donna, Kate, Dorian; Rommel & Estefani Aleman, Thiago & Sofia; Roxana & family; Omeris, Edwin, Heidi, Eileen, Heizell, Kirvin & family; Marta, Laura, Lucy Vividea & family; and many family friends. Melida was preceded in death by her parents Gulliermo and Hilaria Aleman, her son Jose Agustin, and nephew Rene Lopez.
