Quincy Dewhart Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Quincy Dewayne Dewhart was born on September 14, 1978, to the parentage of Dennis Mack and Eunice Dewhart in Houston, Texas. Quincy attended Beneke Elementary, Wells Middle School and Westfield High School in Spring ISD. He was a member of Mt. Horeb Missionary Baptist Church, pastored by Reverend Dr. Samuel H. Smith Senior where he came to know Christ at an early age. As a native Houstonian, Quincy loved the Houston Rockets, Astros, and Texans. He never met a stranger, he loved meeting people and sharing words of wisdom with his cousins and friends. Quincy would light up the room when he entered. Quincy departed this life on July 11, 2022, at 12:40am. Proceeding his death was his beloved father, Dennis Mack, grandmothers Jewery B. Whitaker and Dorothy M. McGhee. Quincy leaves to cherish his memory, his loving mother Eunice M. Dewhart, stepmother Angie Crosby, beloved Joyce Okeke, his two beautiful sons, Brayden and Dylan Dewhart, sisters Jamie, Erica, Dennitria and brother Dennis (Ariane) grandfathers Ernest Whitaker, Dennis Guillory and Reverend Eddie McGhee, Jr (Ella) nephew’s D’Antre (Tre), Nathan, Kel, Dennis Jr (Tre) and niece Mekala, aunts Teresa Ann, Anita, Cheryl, Linda and Brenda, uncles, Jeffrey, Anthony,( Francis), Winston, Oronde, Carl, Decula and Anthony, and many loving cousins and a host of lifelong friends. The family acknowledges with a grateful appreciation the many expressions of love, cards, flowers, phone calls, prayers, donations, and deeds of support. Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him and he shall direct thy path.
