Rene Guillermo Lopez was born September 7, 1988, in Los Angeles, California to a Nicaraguan mother, Julieta and Salvadoran father, Rene. He was raised in San Francisco, California with his two brothers Alvaro, Ariel, stepdad Jaime and extended family. He has lived in Spring, Texas for the last 15 years up until his death. As the first-born of the family, Rene was a natural leader and competitor. He wanted to be the best at whatever he did. His childhood hobbies were playing basketball at the local park and playing video games at home. Rene was a kind soul and had a great sense of humor, so it was easy for him to make friends. He was a bright student in school and graduated high school at George Washington High school before he moved to Spring, Texas, he also attended to Klein Oak high school. Following his dreams to play competitive basketball in college he attended Lone star College in Conroe, Texas. During his college years he met his girlfriend at the time, Vanessa and had two children, Selina a girl, and Sean a boy with autism. For the next decade he dedicated his life to work, providing for his children, and being the father figure he never really had. He worked at Kroger in the Woodlands and Spring Cypress locations. He finished his career as a new car salesperson at Planet Ford in Houston, Texas. As years passed Rene matured to a hardworking and reliable person, serving others through the power of labor. He had a great laugh and smile and radiated joy from youthful heart. He never quit a job, never lost a fist fight, and once you were his friend you were always his friend. With these manly qualities he stood behind everything his believed and said whether he was right or wrong and had unique insight and wisdom that enriched others. Rene was committed to the people he loved and genuinely cared about others like extensions of his family. Rene was passionate about family and always made it point to love others despite their defects. He passed away in a car accident on December 23rd, 2021. Rene will be remembered as Man's Man and laid the foundation to those who looked up to him, never to be forgotten by those who truly took the time to know him. Rene's memory will serve as a reminder for people to love one another and smile despite ones personal struggles, a sign of fortitude and strength, which he had plenty of. His legacy will never die, as it will build up this very community and family forever. He is survived by his two children Selina and Sean.
