Sean Tyler Wheeler

September 12, 2001 - June 10, 2022

Beloved son, grandson, brother, nephew, uncle, cousin, boyfriend, and friend, Sean Tyler Wheeler, age 20, unexpectedly went to be with our Lord on Friday, June 10, 2022. Born in Houston, Texas on September 12, 2001, to father Anthony ‘Tony’ Wheeler and mother Veronica Wheeler (Buckner), Sean grew up in Spring, Texas with his brothers, Anthony ‘Glen’ Wheeler and Matthew Wheeler, sister, Darlette "DJ" Wheeler, and cousin Christopher Buckner, where he graduated from Klein Collins High School in the class of 2020. After graduation, Sean moved to Arizona to be with his sister, Dina Adams (Wheeler), where he attended college at Arizona Christian University on a scholarship as a business major. Sean was an accomplished athlete, swimming competitively from age six for his neighborhood swim team, the Bridgestone Dolphins. Sean was passionate about water safety and the sport of swimming, so he spent some of his summers teaching swimming lessons to children and coaching them on their technique. Sean continued to pursue his passion as a member of the ACU’s Men’s swim team where he set new school records and had many personal bests. If you knew Sean then you knew how much he loved kids, especially his own nieces and cousins. Sean’s family was one of his favorites talking points and he was very proud to share details about all of them with friends. We will remember Sean for his huge smile, loud voice, goofy laugh, and kind spirit. Sean’s kindness was seeded in his faith, and it is that strong faith in God that gives us the peace in knowing we will see him again one day. Please join the family for a visitation at 10:00 AM followed by a memorial service at 11:00 AM on June 23rd, 2022, at Addison Funeral Home. Following the memorial service, the family will proceed to a private burial but would like to thank attendees to the memorial service for their support. In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation in Sean's honor to the Kailee Mills Foundation. https://www.kaileemillsfoundation.org/?gclid=EAIaIQobChMIrMHP69O3-AIV5wutBh2zyghrEAAYASAAEgJg0PD_BwE
