Susie Almarez
August 12, 1951 - March 20, 2022
Susie Avalos was welcomed to this world on August 12, 1951 in Toledo, OH. She was the 6th daughter of 15 kids, born to Rita and Stanley Avalos. She grew up in a huge, loving family. She had five children; four daughters and one son. Her first born, Michele (the calmest of all of us) who was waiting for her in Heaven, was married to Darin and together had three kids; Trevor, Camden and Skyla, and then came Diana, the indecisive one, who is married to Jeff and together they have two kids, Paden and Dailyn. Dawn, the loudest but funniest, was the third child, who is married to Jason and have Leslie and Cooper. But there's more - next, is her only son Donnie, who was spoiled rotten. He is married to Keri and they have the most kids of everyone; Rane, Solana, Dylan and Kaia. Then comes the uh-oh, Stephanie who is married to Richard and has two kids, Junior and Maycie. Susie provided a wonderful childhood for all of us. We grew up with so many cousins, aunts and uncles who we spent hours and hours with everyday of our lives. This taught us what a family is and made us all as close as we are today. Later in life, she became a truck driver, where she met her husband Ruben, who was also waiting for her in Heaven. Ruben had fifteen children, to whom she became a step-mom to (I know, she's crazy). She was a very giving person who would do anything for anyone, no questions asked. She was an amazing grandma who never missed a thing. She was at every performance, game, recital, grandparents day, graduation, birthday party, etc. She loved her grandkids more than we will ever know, but more importantly, made sure they all knew how much they were loved by her. She has definitely made her mark on this world and her legacy continues through all of the people she has loved and love her. She will be missed everyday, but remains so close in all our hearts. We love you Mother.
