Hector Cruz-Aedo Jr.

A LOVING FATHER, HUSBAND AND LOYAL FRIEND Hector Rolando Cruz-Aedo Jr ("Baby Hector") was born July 20, 1981 in Austin, Texas to Leticia Jimenez Cruz-Aedo and the late Hector Cruz-Aedo. He departed his earthly home to return to the arms of our Father on January 13 2025, at the age of 43. Hector will be remembered as a chill person, great story-telling, his ability to connect and build relationships, his love for the Texas Longhorns, sports and Houston Hip-Hop culture. He graduated from Lago Vista High School in 2000 where he was a top athlete in track & field, basketball, and football. His love for track led him to excel in long jump, triple jump, 600m relay and 400m relay. These hard-earned and well-developed skills gave him the opportunity to participate in the University Interscholastic League as well as the Yellow Jacket Invitational. Hector loved played basketball and as any athlete would, enjoyed the tenacity and competitive nature of tournaments. Hector's athletic capabilities and versatility allowed him to lay several positions during his football tenure. His experiences and love for the sport carried over to his die hard fandom for the Texas Longhorns ("Texas... Fight"). His life's vocation of lawn maintenance and landscaping exude his desire to enjoy the open outdoors. Hector worked both on the residential and commercial side throughout his career. He not only worked with his dad to run a high-end residential lawn care and landscaping company, but went on to create and develop his own successful company up until his Earthly departure. He is preceded in death by his father, Hector Cruz-Aedo and uncle Ernesto Jimenez. Hector is survived by his wif, Charlean Cruz-Aedo, his son, Charles Deonis Rolando Cruz-Aedo, mother Leticia Jimenez Cruz-Aedo, nephews Bryant Avery Leonard and Braxton August Leonard, uncles Rick Cruz-Aedo (Houston), Jorge Cruz-Aedo (Thailand), Edward Cruz-Aedo (Pflugerville), Enrique Jimenez (Mexico), Rafael Jimenez (Mexico), auntts Priscilla Hill (South Dakota) and Guadalupe Jimenez (Mexico), mother-in-law Mary Roberson, sister-in-law Carilla Roberson, brother-in-law Bryant Leonard, as well as extended family and caring friends..
