Ricky Zaragosa Jr. 1992 – 2026 Ricky Zaragosa Jr., age 33 passed away unexpectantly in the early hours of Wednesday, February 18, 2026. Born August 27, 1992 in Houston, Texas. He was a lifelong Houstonian who took great pride in Houston sports. His passion for baseball was unmatched, from cheering on The Astros and being featured on the jumbotron multiple times, to coaching his daughter and son’s little league teams at NWBA (Northwest Baseball Association) & SKSA (Spring -Klein Sports Association), baseball was more than a passion, it was a lifestyle. Ricky graduated from Klein Oak High School in 2010 and joined the police academy in 2019. He was entering his 7TH year in law enforcement for Harris County, serving 4 years at the Constables Office and 3 years at the Sheriff’s Office. When Ricky was not on duty or coaching little league baseball, you could find him playing cards with his kids, poker and blackjack being a family favorite. Dancing – always dancing, pushing every button of his spouse Stacy, with a giant grin on his face. Or on the back of his beloved motorcycle. Ricky is survived by two of his most favorite people in the world, his children Arianna Zaragosa and Kaleb Zaragosa. He is also survived by his spouse and first love, Stacy Zaragosa, Mother Kimberly Deary (Stepfather Terrence Deary), Father Ricky Zaragosa Sr. (Step Mother Martha Zaragosa); siblings (Sisters) Ella Deary, Jamie Zaragosa, Martha Orostieta, (Brothers) Byron Deary, Malcolm Deary and Richard Diaz. Aside from his children, his many nieces and nephews owned the other half of his heart, he cherished each for who they were and loved them all equally. A formal funeral is planned to honor Ricky on March 4, 2O26 at Addison Funeral Home, 18630 Kuykendahl Rd, in Spring TX. Public visitation will be begin at 10am with the service following promptly at 11am. A second memorial – A CELEBRATION OF LIFE, will be held the following week on March 12, 2026 at District 2.4.9. in Tomball, Texas starting at 5pm. We will gather to share stories, dance and cheers to Ricky, a man who made many smile; the real funeral Ricky would have wanted. To each event we encourage you to wear Astros gear, share your favorite memories of Ricky and smile; he would have discouraged tears being shed for him.
