We used Addison for my dad's service on 8 5 2024. It was a excellent experience all around from when my dad passed , to how they removed him with dignity from the home, to the communication with the cemetery, to the planning of our service and church service. We received many compliments during the viewing of the service. The 3 ladies in the office handled everything for us and let us focus on what was important. When you lose a family member, it is the little things that end up meaning the most. When asked if my mom had made it to their place yet, we were told she was there safe and wrapped in a blanket. Mikala remembered the name of my son who she had not even met yet, at a time when I admit I couldn't remember hers. She didn't mind repeating the same answers more than once when necessary and always had the answers we needed. I am sure I asked the same thing more than once She anticipated whatever we needed even before we knew we needed it. And accommodated any request if possible, within reason. I asked to put the last flower spray onto her grave, and she made it happen. She talked about our mom with respect and care. That meant the world to me.

Addison is such a wonderful place in a dark time of your life. Unfortunately, this is my 3rd time using them but every time they have been so great. Taylor is so sweet and caring and every experience I have had has been phenomenal. And....they don't price gouge you like some places do. They put you first in every way.

I don’t leave many reviews, good or bad, but I feel that our experience with Addison Funeral Home warrants this. The loss of my brother was unexpected and a very emotional period for our family. Mikala and the staff were beyond helpful and accommodating to my family. Patient, kind, and always demonstrating compassion. Navigating the waters after the loss of a loved one is always difficult. Thanks to Mikala, Taylor and Savannah, my brother and I had an easier time of it. A neighbor of ours used Addison Funeral Home for their loved one's viewing and cremation services. We were so very impressed with their professionalism and compassion throughout the process. The Addison Staff was extremely kind and respectful of the culture differences our neighbor presented to them. We recently lost our father and were nowhere near prepared for what we had to do to ensure my Dad was put to rest. We were expecting my Father's passing, but yet it was still unexpected to us. Addison and specifically, Taylor, were key to helping us through this difficult time. If you have found this testimonial its for a reason. Stop scrolling. Mikala and Addison Funeral home are the right choice. We recently lost our oldest son, our 17 year old, in a tragic kayaking accident. Our hearts were shattered. I couldn't even function, yet the care and compassion Mikala showed us our son were like no other. I felt like, no-strike that, I KNOW she was truly there for us. I wont say this was made easier by her, because there is nothing easy about losing a child, but her grace, knowledge and compassion made all the difference and I couldn't imagine not having her by our side through this. Her attention to detail still catches me off guard. The way she took time to listen to us and get to know our son still brings tears to my eyes. When I couldn't put together a play list, she was all over it, and it was exactly what he would have loved. I held my son's hand and was singing him a song, and hours later she was able to tell me exactly which song it was. When my daughter wanted to color her brother another picture, Mikala already had exactly what she was wanting queued up and ready to print. When we needed extra water for my diabetic uncle, she made it happen. When I came back a week later and mentioned I wished I had a picture I never wanted or asked for, she had it already for me. When we needed everything to truly represent our son and the teenager her was, she helped us make it happen. The love she showed our son in the time she had him meant everything! When my husband told her I wanted to to tuck our son in for the night before I saw him again the next day, she made it happen. When she was finished preparing him, she made sure to let me know she tucked him back in for me. She communicated every step of the way with us and had answers to questions I didn't even know I had. I hope no one ever has to feel the loss of losing a loved one, but if you do, you need Mikala in your life.

Losing my husband has been the hardest loss I could ever imagine. Our family wanted him to have the beautiful service that he deserved, so we chose Addison Funeral Home. The funeral director, Mikala, is the most professional and supportive person I have ever met. She gave me a referral to a counselor for when I broke the news to the kids about their father’s passing. That is a BIG deal because I had no idea how to go about that situation. The service far exceeded my expectations. It was an open casket and Mikala really captured the beauty of my husband. Although it was really hard to look at him in a casket, he looked very peaceful. My husband was cremated and we were able to order necklaces that would be filled with his ashes with the help of Addison Funeral Home. I will cherish my necklace forever. It is evident to me that Mikala is very passionate about bringing comfort to anyone who is faced with the loss of a loved one. She is truly amazing. I honestly would have been lost without her guidance and compassion. Thank you Mikala and thank you Addison Funeral Home.

Addison Funeral Home helped my family with my mothers funeral a few months ago and I can’t say enough about Mikala, Taylor and Syvannah!!! Mikala was very professional and helpful during a time when you are at a very sad time in your life and was very patient in dealing with our family regarding making her arrangements and offering her professional advice. Taylor and Syvannah were very helpful with getting everything we requested from the services on a flash drive for the family!! Finding the right team and final arrangement services for my sweet Nana had been a bit of a process. From the moment we walked into Addison Funeral Home and met with their Funeral Director, Mikala, our family knew that this was place we had been searching for. Finally, we found a funeral home that fully understood our wishes, took the time to get to know us as a family so they could better bring our vision to life, and helped us to understand the process. We are so grateful to the entire Addison Funeral Home family, and especially want to thank Mikala for her services. It is clear in the way she communicates and by her actions that bringing peace and closure to families is not a job, but a passion of hers. We felt validated and well supported through out the process of planning, the passing of Nana, the viewing, and burial services. I highly recommend Addison Funeral Home. Mikala and her team of associates were a blessing in our families time of need. When inexperienced and faced with a devastating loss. They never took advantage. In fact our loved one was cared for as if they were personally known and loved by them . The care they provided extended into our family and friends. They pay attention to details and listen to concerns and create positive results. I was unprepared and interviewed several places. Exhausted I almost settled, something told me to continue on and I’m so happy I did . That’s when I met Mikala I knew almost instantly that Addison was the right place to trust ! I wasn’t wrong ! We got bonus services of love and quality care! They weren’t the most expensive choice! But should be!

I can not say enough about Addison funeral home. My daughter passed on June 9th and Mikala somehow made planning for my baby's services so easy. The love and compassion she has is mind blowing. The staff was so sweet as well. When calling around for funeral homes I was sickened by the robotic sound of people listing off prices and not asking what we were actually wanting. This place is heaven sent and I can't thank Mikala enough for her kindness and care for my daughter. She even helped me paint my baby's nails and braid her hair for the very last time. She will hold a place in my heart forever.

The staff was extremely professional and responsive. My siblings and I had some difficult decisions to make when our mother passed away rather quickly and this is one of the choices I can say I would do exactly the same way if I had the chance. The staff was able to work with us, the cemetery, and our father's funeral home to help us lay our parents to rest together in a place where several other family members rest. The reason we had to use this place is unfortunate, but the service from all three ladies was impeccable. Mikala, Taylor and Syvannah accommodated me every step of the way, even with a few questions and issues (not from them, but hospital) after the the service. We chose this place because we have held a few services over the last few years at this location and have been pleased each and every time.
