The Glenn Addison Family

The Glenn Addison Family

Addison Funeral Home, located at 18630 Kuykendahl Rd. in Spring, TX, and Tranquility Oaks, a perpetual care cemetery located at 22302 Hildebrandt Road, also in Spring approximately four miles north of the funeral home, are owned by Glenn and Lorie Addison who also own and operate Magnolia Funeral Home and Magnolia Memorial Gardens in Magnolia, Texas. Glenn grew up in Magnolia and graduated from Magnolia High School in 1979. He graduated from Abilene Christian University in 1983, the same year he and Lorie were married. He also holds a degree from Commonwealth Institute of Funeral Service. Lorie completed her B.S.W. at Sam Houston State University in 1984 and received her M.Ed in Counseling from Prairie View A&M in 1994. The Addisons have two grown children and are active members of the Woodland Oaks Church of Christ. Glenn was named Citizen of the Year by the Magnolia Area Chamber in 2008. The Addisons are assisted in the day to day operation of the funeral home by several dedicated employees who share a common desire to assist families who are hurting due to the loss of a loved one. We each desire to serve the people in this area by providing top quality, with affordability, during a family's time of need.

At Addison Funeral Home, we strive to keep things as reasonable as possible in regards to our pricing. We do NOT charge extra for weekend or evening services, a register book, thank you cards, or memorial folders and materials. We do NOT charge you extra if you are Catholic. We do NOT charge you extra if your loved one is female (for hair dressing and makeup). We do NOT charge you extra if death occurs at home or after hours. If you want to use our chapel for visitation you will NOT be charged extra. Likewise, if you desire to have a viewing followed by cremation we do NOT make you purchase a casket.

We are not out to make a huge profit at your expense. Long after we have served your family, we want you to continue to say positive things about us and believe we will achieve that goal by treating you fairly, without any pressure to purchase expensive merchandise. Your budget is a priority of ours.

We will treat you the way we would want to be treated when faced with a loss. We are here to facilitate your wishes, as you plan for the best way to remember your loved one. Each family will be treated individually and with respect. We will be here to explain options to you and bring your desires about with as little added stress to you as possible.
